Our first chosen area to work in is Chiawa, a region on the northern banks of the Zambezi in Zambia. We hope when the political situation allows, to cross the border into Zimbabwe to give some much needed help there.

Education
Building a 3-classroom block at Chitende High School. Funding 60 OVC’s (Orphans & Vulnerable Children) through school including uniforms, shoes, books & stationery. Building a community shelter to be used as a pre-school nursery and for adult education classes.

Providing training for medical assistants to help in local clinics including family planning and HIV / AIDS awareness.

Livelihoods
Training women’s groups in small business management and providing a micro-finance fund to help start promising ideas.
